The Power of One

When  many  unite and become one, the multiplier effect makes one a powerful number. The Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce is a unique, strategic all-in-one asset.

  • Junction City-Geary County Economic Development Commission: The  commission is a powerful force  in business attraction and business support.  The Commission provides  flexible and responsive assistance, not only in recruiting new industry, but also in facilitating the growth and success of existing industry.
  • Membership Enhancement Division: The Chamber is a high-powered networking resource,  with more than 350 businesses and individuals. The high-profile marketing platform  is a high-performance source of mentorship and training. For the local residents and industry, the Chamber is an all-in-one force  of commerce  and community growth.
  • Convention and Visitors Bureau: When a community sits in the midst of a recreational paradise and is  home to a globally leading military base, it’s only natural to expect company. With CVB efforts, tourism assets are protected and improved, while tourism dollars provide stable and robust support for our local economy. The CVB is an  established feeder for area growth: When people play here, many want to stay here for life.
  • Military Affairs  Council: As  home to the Big Red One,  we are proud to support Fort Riley, including past and present service members and their families.   The MAC  leverages economic and lifestyle synergies   and maintains communication between the community and military base.  As a central liaison, the MAC leads that effort, with community-wide support and participation.

One Community. One Vision. That’s the chosen theme of Junction City First, our five-year economic development plan and forward-moving public-private economic development partnership. But One Community, One Vision is also a description and a promise: We are one community collaboratively partnered to assure progress and a professional approach to economic development and prosperity.

United We Stand. United We Succeed.
